The low-maintenance shaft drive removes the hassle of regular chain cleaning and adjustment, whether during routine checks or over longer distances. UP TO EIGHT RIDING MODES

Five pre-configured riding modes (Road, Rain, Eco, Sport, Off-road) and two fully configurable ‘Rider’ modes, plus Off-Road Pro* mode on Rally versions optimize the response to the road ahead. You can even personalize the modes available and quickly toggle between them via the dedicated Riding Modes button. ECO MODE

In addition to reducing peak power output and softening throttle response, Eco mode displays an intuitive efficiency meter on the instruments, helping riders optimize their riding style to make the most of every drop of fuel and extend the already impressive fuel range.

SEMI-ACTIVE SUSPENSION

Electronically controlled semi-active Showa EERA HeightFlex® suspension works seamlessly in the background to deliver outstanding comfort with a natural, planted ride feel. Large 49mm diameter forks pair with a monoshock rear suspension unit (RSU) featuring automatic self-levelling preload adjustment, to maintain the ideal ride height and geometry whether riding solo, two-up or fully loaded. Using real-time inputs from multiple sensors, including a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), the system continually adapts compression and rebound damping within milliseconds, keeping the bike composed over uneven terrain and stable under braking.

RUGGED EVO LUGGAGE

Built for rigidity and stability, the Evo luggage system has been redeveloped in partnership with GIVI to support an increased load-carrying capacity while maintaining confident handling when fully loaded. Crafted from durable aluminum and finished in silver or anodized black, the high-quality Evo system offers a choice of 42-litre or new, 58-litre, twin-helmet top boxes. Both are available with an optional backrest pad for added pillion comfort. Matching panniers feature easy-access openings and optional waterproof inner bags, while ignition key-locking across the system adds everyday convenience and security.

IMPROVED ERGONOMICS

Lower seat heights across the range and optimized ergonomics that revise handlebar and footpeg positions enhance accessibility, comfort and control. On Explorer models, the handlebars are mounted 10mm higher than on Pro versions and are now 10mm wider, delivering a more commanding and upright riding position. Across all variants, the handlebars are mounted using a damper to maximize comfort. The footpeg position has also been revised, with all versions now benefitting from the same, higher and more engaging riding position, while still offering the best legroom in class for taller riders.

ENHANCED SEAT COMFORT

Redesigned with 10mm thicker foam for improved comfort, the rider and pillion seats maintain the same accessible seat height thanks to more efficient use of space within the bike’s chassis layout. The strong, welded vinyl construction on the rider’s seat reduces bulky seams for improved comfort, while heated rider and pillion seats come as standard on all variants, ensuring comfort in all conditions, mile after mile.

LIGHTWEIGHT CHASSIS

The Tiger’s chassis makes extensive use of innovative design and advanced lightweight materials to balance strength, durability, and precise handling. A frame constructed from high-strength micro-alloy steel tubing delivers excellent rigidity and keeps weight to a minimum, while the 7000-series aluminum rear subframe offers exceptional tensile strength-to-weight performance. ACTIVE DAMPING ADJUSTMENT

The latest semi-active Showa EERA Heightflex® suspension delivers even more agility, control, and easy adjustment. Set-up is intuitive, with three damping levels per riding mode. Selectable using the dedicated suspension mode button on the switch-cube, this allows for rapid changes, adapting the response to maintain the chosen feel, without altering other settings. A new hydraulic secondary bump stop ensures comfort and control on even the most demanding terrain.

TRI-LINK SWINGARM

The Triumph Tri-Link swingarm uses a unique twin-arm aluminum structure with an integrated compact shaft drive, forming a stiff, triangulated assembly. The high-performance calipers combine with a Magura HC1 radial master cylinder to provide precise modulation and confident braking response, and a span-adjustable lever allows for a tailored set-up for intuitive control, reduced fatigue, and unwavering confidence every time you reach for the brakes.

HIGHER PERFORMANCE

A redesigned cylinder head, with new pistons, lighter inlet and exhaust valves and more precise fuel injection improve combustion efficiency, while a freer-flowing exhaust system adopts a larger cross-section catalyst to reduce back pressure and optimize gas flow. Together, these changes deliver higher peak power, and peak torque earlier in the rev range for a broader, more responsive torque curve. New gear ratios in first through third gears put more torque to the road, sharpening throttle response for instant acceleration and a more thrilling ride.

TRIUMPH SHIFT ASSIST

Triumph Shift Assist enables lightning-fast, clutch-less gear changes up and down the six-speed gearbox, maintaining uninterrupted drive during acceleration and confident, controlled downshifts when braking into bends. Building on proven functionality, the latest generation TSA system delivers even faster, smoother and more consistent changes.

SHOWA EERA HEIGHTFLEX®

The systems of the bike continuously monitor speed and braking, using a hydraulic pump to reduce rear suspension pressure and lower the seat by 30mm as you come to a stop, delivering the same reassuring reduction in height whether riding solo, two-up or with luggage. As you pull away, the optimum ride height is restored in just a few seconds. With the side stand deployed, the remaining suspension pressure is fully released to drop the motorcycle to its lowest possible position, making it easier to get on and off. The automatic self-lowering function can also be easily switched on or off, depending on rider preference.

ADJUSTABLE SEAT HEIGHT

A two-position seat mechanism offers 20mm of vertical adjustment, allowing riders to fine tune the ergonomics and riding position. In conjunction with an accessory low seat that reduces this by an additional 20mm and with self-lowering function active, the Tiger 1200 delivers an incredibly low seat height of just 790mm at a standstill.

CENTRE STAND ASSIST

Optimized stand geometry is combined with automatic suspension control to make lifting the bike onto the centre stand significantly easier. As the centre stand is deployed, the suspension pressurizes to reduce sag and raise the rear of the bike, resulting in a lighter, more controlled action, even when the Tiger 1200 is fully laden. When using the side-stand, the rear preload is automatically reduced to its minimum setting, dropping to its lowest height and making it effortless to fold the stand away as you get back on and pull off.

ANDROID AUTO™ AND APPLE CARPLAY®

Industry-leading and instantly familiar, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connect wirelessly and appear crystal clear on the large, high-definition touchscreen, providing seamless access to your preferred music, messaging, and navigation apps. LOW CRAWL SPEED

Optimized engine inertia and revised primary and final drive ratios reduce the crawl speed (the road speed at engine tick-over in first gear) by 6kph, allowing for more confident slow speed control and less stop/start riding in heavy traffic.

OFF ROAD MODES

Off-road riding modes can be selected on the move to optimize throttle response, Traction Control and ABS (plus connected functions like Front Wheel Lift Control) for loose surfaces. On Rally versions, Off-road Pro mode deactivates TC completely, for unfiltered control. To support running lower pressures off-road, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) moves to a live display, keeping you informed of the status without triggering an alert. In both Off-road riding modes, automatic lowering suspension is replaced by high / low ride height settings, allow riders to quickly switch from sure-footed confidence to maximum ground clearance at the press of a button.

COMFORT OR DYNAMIC MODES

Selectable response modes tailor the Adaptive Cruise Control behaviour, from gentle throttle openings and gradual deceleration for relaxed touring, to sharper reactions and increased responsiveness for more immediate changes in speed.

OVERTAKE ASSIST

When the rider indicates to pass, the system checks the blind spot is clear, then smoothly accelerates to close the gap to the vehicle in front in preparation for the manoeuvre.

CURVE SPEED CONTROL

Comfort mode automatically eases off the throttle in long turns, maintaining cruise control while subtly reducing speed to keep the bike settled and balanced through the curve.

GROUP RIDE ASSIST

This function holds a tight, staggered formation that discourages other vehicles from cutting into the pack. Using radar to monitor the bikes ahead, it ensures an appropriate gap based on speed and lane offset, keeping group formation smooth and predictable.

DYNAMIC CRUISE CONTROL

This simplified mode of operation can be selected if preferred, allowing the cruise control system to simply maintain your chosen speed using throttle, engine braking, and the brakes when needed, even on downhill stretches.

RIDER DISTANCE ASSIST

This protective virtual bubble helps maintain a safe gap ahead by gently limiting acceleration and applying braking to prevent you from drifting too close to the vehicle in front. Adding reassurance when sudden stops are unavoidable, Emergency Brake Assist provides support in heavy-braking situations, seamlessly increasing brake pressure when it detects a potential collision during hard braking to maximize stopping performance while keeping the rider firmly in command.

An extra layer of awareness, detecting when you’re closing in too quickly on slowing traffic ahead and alerting you before a potential collision.
