Triumph Factory Racing Completes Sophomore Smx Season

Triumph Factory Racing has completed its second season in the SuperMotocross World Championship, as the 2025 finals wrapped up in Las Vegas. Donning a unique livery from SKDA, Jordon Smith was impossible to miss as he raced beneath the lights in Nevada's desert.

Less than 100% after a hard crash in qualification, Smith set out to finish his season on a positive note. He placed 10th in moto one, where he started in that position and battled in the lower half of the top 10 for the duration. The second moto was where he did his best work; he ended lap one in 12th and made consistent passes to ultimately reach the chequered flag in seventh. Consistency paid off in Las Vegas; a 10-7 scorecard left him sixth in the 250SMX overall classification and seventh in the final championship standings.

Austin Forkner was not present in Las Vegas, as he's recovering from the injury that he suffered at the penultimate round in St. Louis.

With the 2025 SMX World Championship in the rear-view mirror, Triumph Factory Racing turns its attention to the annual FIM Motocross of Nations, where Mikkel Haarup will represent Denmark on his TF 250-X. The remainder of the team's roster will start to focus on preparation and improvements for the 2026 race season.

Jordon Smith

"Unfortunately, I dislocated my shoulder in the first practice today and was not sure if I was going to be able to race. I gutted it out for a sixth place and I am proud of myself for that. It was a long season, but I'm proud of myself and every single person on this team for the work they put in this year."

Jeremy Coker – General Manager, Triumph Racing America

"The final round of the season ended much better than it started. With Jordon's crash in practice, we doubted he would even be able to race. For him to go out and get a sixth overall? I am beyond proud of him and the team. We are looking forward to next year, with a strong off-season of preparation the team will be ready to go come Anaheim."
