5.11 TRIUMPH FACTORY RACING SET FOR 2026 PRO MOTOCROSS SEASON

2026 Outdoors Season
Racing 26th May 2026

5.11 Triumph Factory Racing is ready to begin the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship with a strong five-rider line-up across the 450 and 250 classes. Building on its AMA Supercross campaign that included many highlights, the team heads into the outdoor season focused on delivering consistent results aboard the TF 450-X and TF 250-X machines.

For the first time, the team enters the premier division of Pro Motocross – the 450 Class. Leading the team into action is Mikkel Haarup. The Dane enjoyed an impressive outdoor campaign with the team last year, which ultimately ended with him placing sixth in the championship despite missing two rounds. Now, the 24-year-old steps up to the TF 450-X with growing confidence as he enters his second year of Pro Motocross competition.

Joining Haarup in the 450 division is Jordon Smith, who raced the TF 450-X in the 2026 AMA Supercross series. After showing promising speed and adaptability indoors, Smith now prepares to begin his first full outdoor campaign aboard a 450 machine.

In the 250 Class, Austin Forkner returns aboard the TF 250-X following a positive finish to the 2025 season. With momentum building towards the end of last year’s championship, the Oklahoma native enters the new campaign eager to re-establish himself as a consistent front-runner in the great outdoors.

Recent signing Gage Linville is also set for an exciting summer as he prepares for his first full Pro Motocross campaign as a factory rider. Since joining the team earlier this year to stand-in for the injured Jalek Swoll, Linville has impressed with his work ethic and determination, and the upcoming outdoor series marks an important step forward in his professional career.

Completing the team’s line-up is highly rated amateur prospect Deacon Denno. The talented youngster, who won the SMX Next Supercross AMA National Championship, will make his professional debut by contesting the opening three rounds of the championship to gain valuable experience at this level. Depending on his progression, Deacon, together with the team, will decide on his racing schedule for the remainder of the summer.

The 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship begins on May 30 at Fox Raceway in Pala, California.

Mikkel Haarup #31

“Training has been going really well, and the focus has been building my fitness and spending as much time on the bike as possible. We’ve been working towards this season for a long time now, and over the last few weeks we’ve continued making small improvements with the bike. Nothing major, just refining the setup and getting everything more comfortable for me heading into the new season. Over the last few weeks, we’ve spent a lot of time at the test track working closely as a team and continuing to improve the bike together. The bike has been feeling great, and we’ve made some positive steps with the chassis recently, which has given me a lot more confidence. It’s been a while since I’ve raced outdoors consistently, but looking at the tracks on the schedule and the progress we’ve made as a team, I feel like I’m in a really good place. I’m feeling relaxed, comfortable, and excited to get the season started and see where we stack up against the competition.”

Jordon Smith #20

“It’s been nice to shift gears after a tough Supercross season, and training has been positive. The focus heading into Pro Motocross has mainly been on my riding and technique, as we haven’t made too many changes to the bike. I had to take about a week off after my crash in Salt Lake City, but I’ve recovered well and I’m feeling strong heading into the new season. Even though I haven’t been able to do as many motos as I would have liked, I feel like we’ve used the time we’ve had well and I’m ready to get the season started. I’m feeling good on the bike too. We’ve made a few small changes with the gearing and suspension, and overall, I think we’re in a good place heading into Pala. My approach for the season is to give everything I have, every moto throughout the summer. I know there will be a learning curve racing a 450 outdoors, but I’m excited for the challenge. The goal is to be battling inside the top 10 early on and then keep progressing closer to the front as the season goes on.”

Austin Forkner #33

“Training and testing have been going smoothly, and we’ve made some good progress with the bike. A big focus for me outdoors is always the suspension because the tracks get so rough, so we’ve spent a lot of time working on that, as well as starts. I’m feeling good heading into the season. My hand still gets a little sore from time to time after breaking it during Supercross, but overall, I’m feeling healthy and ready to go. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been fine-tuning the bike and pushing each other during motos and sprint sessions, so it’s been enjoyable, even if there have been some long days. I definitely feel like this year’s bike is an improvement over last year’s, especially after testing on rougher tracks that are more similar to race conditions. I had some good rides last season, but the consistency and starts weren’t always there. Whenever I got good starts, I was usually able to stay near the front, so the goal this summer is to improve my starts and keep putting myself in position to fight near the front more consistently.”

Gage Linville #74

“It’s been a great few weeks of training and testing. I switched straight to outdoors after Salt Lake and we’ve been putting in a lot of work ever since. We’ve made some good adjustments to the bike to better suit my riding style, and I feel like we’re continuing to make progress every time we ride. I’m really looking forward to the new season. Unfortunately, I only raced two rounds of Supercross this year, so I’m excited to get back behind the gate and give it everything I’ve got. The last few weeks have been full of long days testing, working on my weaknesses, and trying to improve in every area. The bike has felt great from day one, and the more testing we’ve done, the more comfortable and confident I’ve become with the setup. My approach for the season is simple – give 100% every time I’m on the track and keep improving each round. If I can continue progressing and putting together solid results, I know I’ll be where I need to be. The whole team has worked extremely hard and I’m really excited to get the outdoor season underway.”

Deacon Denno #199

“The switch back to motocross has been really good for me. Over the last few weeks, I’ve been focused on getting my race pace back up with longer motos and putting in a lot of work on the bike. I’m feeling strong coming off a good Supercross season and I’m excited to carry that momentum into Pro Motocross. The bike is feeling good as well. We spent a lot of time testing recently, especially with the suspension, and I feel like we’ve made some big improvements heading into the first round. This is my rookie season, so the main goal is to gain as much experience as possible racing against the top guys. I want to improve every weekend, keep learning, and consistently fight for top-10 results throughout the season.”

Jeremy Coker – General Manager, Triumph Racing America

"It’s been a busy few weeks as we’ve switched from Supercross to Pro Motocross and been preparing for our outdoors campaign. The 5.11 Triumph Factory Racing team has been working hard; Jordon has joined Mikkel, who has been working with the TF 450-X over the winter, and it’s been good for them to work together both in terms of final testing and fine tuning ahead of our first season in the 450 Pro Motocross championship. It will be interesting to see where they are both at, Mikkel has had a long off-season again but comes into this year with a lot more knowledge of the series, and Jordon has had more time on the bike, but now set-up for motocross. Deacon, Gage and Austin have been getting plenty of riding time with the TF 250-X too. Austin is back up-to speed on the smaller capacity bike and has been a good reference for us in testing, having raced outdoors on the TF 250-X last year. Deacon will race the first three events, and we’ll see where he’s at to decide what happens next, while Gage has benefited from more experience with the bike. Having all five riders on track has been fun and good for them from a training perspective. Both classes are incredibly stacked, but we’re optimistic of what we can achieve, and we’ve set some realistic goals. We’re looking forward to getting out there and seeing what we can do.”
